Old containers shine in a new light

Frei AquaService AG recognized the potential of transforming a "non-place" consisting of four old sea containers into a source of inspiration and artistic innovation. To this end, Frei AquaService AG commissioned graffiti artist Philipp Tschanz (artist name Dest Jones), one of the pioneers of the Swiss street art scene, with the task of embellishing the containers with works of art.

The selection of artists whose works were presented in this project - including greats such as Olafur Eliasson, Piotr Zybura, James Turrell, Peter Zumthor as well as Christo and Jeanne-Claude - testifies to a deep understanding of the importance and diversity of contemporary art. The idea of uniting these different creative visions in a seemingly unusual context proved to be bold and inspiring.

The fusion of Dest Jones' artistic talent with the works of these renowned artists led to a remarkable result. The sea containers became canvases for the fusion of street art and contemporary art.

Frei AquaService's initiative to transform the "Un-Ort" into a work of art illustrates not only the company's commitment to promoting art and culture, but also its innovative spirit and willingness to take unconventional paths to create something unique. This project is not only an enrichment for the art world, but also an inspiring example of the possibilities of collaboration between business and art.
